The Assembly Place-TS Group JV bags contract for foreign healthcare workers’ lodging facilities

MOH Holdings had already introduced an inquiry for proposition in August of last year to select an operator to retrofit vacant buildings and take care of hostel-type accommodation for new foreign medical care workers on five locations, including the areas at 1A Short Avenue, 107 Circuit Road and 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent. 1A Short Street is the site of a past student hostel, while the last 2 are sites of previous colleges.

A joint venture between Singapore co-living broker The Assembly Place and TS Group, a service provider of large-scale holiday accommodation for international employees and the senior, has recently participated in a commitment with MOH Holdings to design, retrofit and manage 3 accommodating facilities for international medical care workers that are unfamiliar to Singapore. The centers are located at 1A Short Street, 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent, and 207 Circuit Road.

The accommodation establishment at Short Street is aim to be operational by the second fifty percent of this year, while the other two locations will welcome healthcare experts in 1H2025. Jointly, the properties are projected to suit 1,180 international healthcare personnels.

The improved centers are going to feature a co-living concept centred around neighborhood living. “We know that lots of [foreign health care personnels] are leaving their home countries for the very first time, so it is really important to develop a reliable and comfortable atmosphere for them,” claims Eugene Lim, founder and chief executive officer of The Assembly Place.

Lim adds that the partnership in between TS Group and The Assembly Place will draw on the former’s considerable experience in running large-scale lodgings sites and the latter’s stability in community-building. “We eagerly anticipate developing purposeful areas and functions to receive the medical care specialists,” he states.
